POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Noregon Sales Professional you will be responsible for prospecting, cold-calling and qualifying sales leads in your territory. You will need to travel to prospective customer sites to deliver sales presentations, provide demonstrations, build relationship, create a pipeline of activity and close deals.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage your territory by developing new business sales and prospects, keeping an active schedule sufficient to grow revenue.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account management
  • Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities
  • Generate leads through self-conducted research and networking, actively making cold calls and setting appointments looking for new business opportunities.
  • Conduct 5+ demos per week showcasing how Noregon technology will improve their business and reduce repair times
  • Train customers to ensure renewal of software
  • Utilize a CRM to record, maintain & report customer data

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This job operates in a remote Engaging with Customers in their place of business; which can be repair shops, industrial warehouses, and truck yards.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of three (3) years outside sales experience required
  • Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred but not required
  • Experience in the diagnostic tool industry is preferred
  • Cold calling and prospecting: good business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing deals
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and overcome customer's buying objections
  • Strong time-management, organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to adopt to quick business changes
  • Excellent follow up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers
  • General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Requires a valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
  • Consent to undergo background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This is active role with some on- and off-site vehicle demonstration may be required. This would require the ability to enter heavy-duty trucks and gain access to various engine components as needed, in addition to standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, bending, and stooping as necessary.
  • Basic motor skills and manual dexterity for extensive computer usage are required
  • Sitting for extended periods of time is required
  • Talking, hearing and close vision abilities are required
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to withstand the stress of traveling, including extended hours driving

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Up to 75%
