Job description

Position Summary:

Perform administrative and technical support directly related to engine maintenance activities in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:
  • Monitor spare parts and consumable materials in the engine warehouse.
  • Assist in the coordination of spare parts inventory.
  • Identify parts; read/interpret technical drawings; verify part specifications; contact vendors/OEM to obtain parts.
  • Maintain daily/weekly reports by specified deadlines as well as ad hoc reporting.
  • Input and track parts and purchases in SAP.
  • Assist engineers with projects as required.
  • Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Team Member may be required to handle hazardous wastes which may include identifying, inspecting, packaging, labelling, and moving waste in compliance with RCRA regulations. Relevant training will be provided if assigned these job duties.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned. 
Education:

2 year Technical degree preferred

  • Experience interpreting auto-cad drawings desired

Additional Information:
