Job description

Title: SAP PTP / PP consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:
  • 12 years of Experience as SAP PTP / PP consultant working closely with business users.
  • At least 2 full life cycle implementation experience with hands-on functional configuration and design experience.
  • Analysing, advising, and making recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the technical solutions implemented
  • Conduct fit to standard / template sessions leveraging SAP best practices
  • Engage with clients to gather and analyse their business requirements and provide in-depth knowledge and insights into module functionalities, configurations, and best practices
  • Perform functional testing and support integration tests and User acceptance tests
  • Support Key users in data cleansing and scoping exercises
  • Support key users in data migration rules definition and data value mapping exercise
  • Perform migration of data where needed
  • Support cutover planning and execution process
  • Support Go Live and hyper care activities
  • Coordination with business organizations, data migration, development and testing teams
  • Coordination with external auditors

Qualifications for SAP MM&PP consultant
  • Knowledge of principle MM processes (contract coordination, purchase order processing, and invoicing. Inventory related processes) and SAP Ariba processes.
  • Experience in preparation of functional specifications for development with detailed technical descriptions (with BAPI, BADI, User Exits)
  • Knowledge of SAP implementation project management standards
  • Expert functional business process and SAP MM configuration/technical knowledge in the areas of Master Data, Production and Non-Production PR/PO, Blanket PO, PO Confirmation, Scheduling Agreement, PIR, SL, Quota, Release Strategy, Subcontract, ROP, Forecasting, IM, GR, GI, Scrap, Physical Inventory, Cycle Counting, Returns, Consignment Inventory, LIV, Material Valuation & Ledger, Batch, User Exits
  • Expert functional business process and SAP WM configuration/technical knowledge in the areas of Master Data, Shelf Life, Batch, Automatic Transfer, TO, Replenishment, Picking/Put away strategy, Physical, Inventory, Cycle Counting, RF Devices, Barcode
  • Strong exposure to system integration via EDI/ALE/IDOC.
  • Familiar with project cycles, testing methods, data migration approach.

  • Configure and maintain the relevant SAP PP modules according to business requirements
  • Collaborate with the production, logistics and procurement teams to develop and implement master production plans
  • Manage and optimize production planning processes, including production orders, production scheduling and capacity control
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to existing processes using SAP PP advanced functionalities
  • Providing technical support and training to users of SAP PP
  • Perform data analysis and reporting to monitor production performance and identify areas of opportunity
  • SAP PP/QM projects from initiation to go-live, ensuring successful implementation of SAP solutions. Provide expertise on SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, including MRP functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop customized solutions using SAP SHANA technology.
  • Develop test scripts for testing purposes and execute tests during system configuration phase.
  • Ensure seamless integration between different modules within the ERP system or S4 HANA systems.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Materials Resource Planning (MRP), and other related modules
