Job description

Job Title: Lead Health Informatics Analyst
Job Location: 100% Remote
Contract Duration: 6 to 9 Months plus Contract to Hire
US Citizens are only preferred
W2 candidates only preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the health IT informatics team, ensuring program deliverables are completed on time, meet quality standards, and align with contract requirements.
  • Provide expert stakeholder management and serve as a primary liaison between clinical, technical, and operational teams in a client-facing environment.
  • Lead requirements elicitation and analysis activities, capturing and documenting health information and clinical data needs in support of EHR and clinical informatics software development.
  • Develop and maintain information models, process documentation, and artifact libraries for systems used in the capture or standardization of health information, clinical information, or data related to therapeutic discovery, medical research, or life sciences.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years of total experience in health IT or a related field, of which at least 6 years must be specialized in Health Informatics. Note: Six (6) additional years of specialized experience in health informatics may substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Sciences, or a related field (see substitution note above).
  • Extensive, hands-on experience with configuration of Oracle Health (OH) and/or CPRS/VistA is required and is non-negotiable for this position.
