Work Environment

This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional evening shifts may be necessary to accommodate varying patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account the interplay between patients' medical conditions and their mental well-being.
• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical requirements, ensuring a holistic approach.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate closely with medical providers to ensure coordinated care, working in tandem to optimize treatment outcomes for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to ensure immediate and effective responses.
• Educate clients regarding the links between mental health and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that complies with relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and interdisciplinary care planning efforts to foster a collaborative environment.
• Stay informed of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in integrated care, continuously enhancing the quality of therapy provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Proficient in addressing the intricate mental health needs of clients with co-occurring medical conditions, demonstrating a strong understanding of integrated care delivery.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and team members alike.
• Ability to uphold professional boundaries and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications for documentation and communication.
• A proven track record of functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in integrated care settings.
• Previous experience in collaborating with other medical professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions relevant to various mental health and medical conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
