Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address clients' specific mental health challenges.
  • Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance your skills and receive guidance from experienced colleagues.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to create a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work primarily with individuals seeking outpatient mental health services, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. The focus will be on a diverse clientele facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your skill in building therapeutic relationships is vital to promote healing and foster a sense of safety and support among clients during their treatment journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Current, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credentials.
  • Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating competence in delivering mental health services.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY software.
