Small Steps Developmental Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to provide high-quality mental health care to a diverse outpatient population. In this full-time position, you will play a critical role in delivering therapeutic support and clinical services that promote the well-being of adults, children, and families in our community. You will handle a balanced caseload, form strong therapeutic relationships, and develop personalized treatment plans to facilitate each client's recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, conducting intake assessments and initial evaluations.
  • Build rapport and foster positive therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Formulate, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with clients, assessing stability and addressing any adjustments in treatment.
  • Document all client interactions, treatment updates, and necessary notes in our electronic health record system.
  • Engage in individual supervision and peer consultations to refine skills and enhance clinical effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We utilize a fee-for-service model, ensuring you receive guaranteed rates—paid ahead of collections, allowing for financial stability.
