The Bison Diagnostic and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Maintain an active caseload by establishing rapport and positive working relationships with clients, always upholding ethical standards and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, address needs, and plan for appropriate discharge when suitable.
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client.
• Perform thorough intake assessments to build an accurate foundation for ongoing treatment.
• Document client interactions meticulously, keeping up-to-date progress notes and records in compliance with organizational standards.
• Engage in individual supervision and collaborative learning opportunities to improve clinical skills.
• Work in coordination with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain a growth mindset and foster personal development and improvement throughout daily work tasks.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting is essential.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology, including RMS systems, spreadsheet software (such as Excel), and email platforms (e.g., Outlook).

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families is preferred.
• Comfort with conducting intake assessments and developing treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations is highly valued.
• A familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling best practices will be beneficial.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, with opportunities for bonuses and incentives. Our fee-for-service model ensures guaranteed payment ahead of collections, alleviating financial concerns for our clinicians.
