About the role
  • Do you want a rewarding career that involves making an impact on people's lives? We are looking for team members who excel at high volume telephonic sales. If you are motivated by commissions or bonuses that can be earned by simply gaining the confidence of customers to sign them up for assistance, then our Sales Intake Specialist role is the position for you! As a Sales Intake Specialist, you will balance your work day between servicing customers on inbound calls and managing your case load inventory. You will guide the customer through an evaluation process to determine eligibility for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or veterans' disability appeals services. Your focus will be on creating a positive, lasting impression through excellent customer service, sales, education and relationship building techniques.

What you'll do
  • Can effectively manage inbound and outbound calls to potential customers with the goal of assessing eligibility, educating them about the advantages of utilizing Allsup's services, and signing them up to work with Allsup.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking type of work environment.
  • Are self-motivated to succeed but also enjoy a competitive, monthly incentive program.
  • Navigate conversations to focus on selling Allsup services, answering questions, resolving concerns and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate tact and diplomacy in handling problem solving situations.
  • Have the ability to learn complex government programs and Allsup processes, in a remote training environment.
  • Enjoy helping customers over the phone, in a dedicated computer desk workspace that is free from distractions.

  • Experience in sales or customer service-related field
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment while navigating multiple complex software programs using a variety of resources.
