The Body & Soul Quality Counseling Center is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time basis. Body & Soul Quality Counseling Center is a distinguished private outpatient mental health practice located in Gresham, Oregon. We collaborate closely with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care to share resources and expertise, ensuring our clients have access to an extensive range of therapeutic services, including counseling, psychopharmacological treatment, and clinical research.

• Maintain a caseload of diverse clients, building rapport through individualized therapeutic engagement while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss treatment goals, organize upcoming appointments, and prepare for the discharge process when appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate client-centered treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each client, including progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to gather necessary background information and inform treatment recommendations.
• Provide individual therapy sessions weekly, leveraging evidence-based practices to support client growth and healing.
• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to provide holistic support to clients and facilitate integrated care.
• Foster a growth mindset that promotes continuous personal and professional development in a supportive environment.

In this role, you will work with a varied client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and other mental health challenges. Your compassionate approach and ability to connect with clients will be vital in helping them achieve their therapeutic goals and improve their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Active, unrestricted LPC license in Oregon.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting post-graduation.
• Proficiency in using various computer systems, including Excel, RMS platforms, Outlook, and clinical management software like Pimsy.
• Experience providing therapeutic services to both individuals and families, demonstrating cultural competence across diverse backgrounds and identities.
• Strong ability to conduct intake assessments effectively, ensuring comprehensive client evaluations.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities that enhance treatment outcomes.
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations impacting clinical practice.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care to clients.
