JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure Technical Lead responsible for driving architecture, delivery, integration, and operational excellence across enterprise infrastructure platforms including Microsoft 365, VMware, Citrix, Windows/Linux servers, Azure, AWS, monitoring platforms, and NOC operations.
This role combines deep technical leadership with people management responsibilities and requires hands-on engineering expertise, enterprise integration experience, and the ability to lead large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), automation, operational governance, and Managed Service Provider (MSP) leadership while helping transform legacy infrastructure into a modern, cloud-enabled enterprise environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infrastructure & Technical Leadership
  • Lead the design, implementation, support, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Provide technical leadership for Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Azure AD, MECM/SCCM, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Oversee Windows and Linux server environments including patching, performance tuning, automation, fault resolution, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead VMware vSphere/ESXi and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD) administration including provisioning, HA/DR, performance optimization, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Manage Citrix ADC/NetScaler environments for load balancing, secure remote access, and authentication integrations.
  • Drive cloud infrastructure initiatives across Azure and AWS environments.

Security, Automation & Reliability
  • Implement and maintain enterprise security best practices including identity protection, RBAC, conditional access, PKI, and compliance standards.
  • Lead automation initiatives using PowerShell and infrastructure automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Establish and mature SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, observability, incident response, resiliency engineering, and root cause analysis.
  • Oversee enterprise monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, SCOM, Datadog, and related observability solutions.

Enterprise Integration & Operations
  • Lead enterprise application onboarding, migration, and integration efforts across infrastructure, networking, identity, virtualization, and middleware layers.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure-to-application issues involving APIs, SAML/OAuth/SCIM, certificates, load balancers, networking, and cloud platforms.
  • Lead 24x7 NOC operations including monitoring, escalation management, SLA adherence, incident response, and operational reporting.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, architecture diagrams, technical standards, and operational documentation.

Leadership & Vendor Management
  • Serve as both a technical lead and people leader for infrastructure engineering teams.
  • Mentor and develop engineers across cloud, virtualization, Citrix, Microsoft platforms, monitoring, and operations disciplines.
  • Manage Envista's Managed Service Provider (MSP) relationships and ensure operational KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations are achieved.
  • Lead organizational change management efforts associated with transitioning from traditional infrastructure operations to modern MSP-led and cloud-enabled operational models
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10-15+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience across cloud, virtualization, Microsoft platforms, Citrix, and SRE operations.
  • 5+ years of experience leading infrastructure engineering teams and/or MSP-managed environments.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience managing enterprise operations, vendor governance, and MSP relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise or highly regulated environments
