Informatica Administrator – Remote

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator. This is a critical role focused on administering and supporting the Informatica platform. The ideal candidate is someone who excels in platform management, system upgrades, and technical support—and thrives in a collaborative team environment. As part of a dedicated group of four Informatica Engineers/Admins, you'll participate in a rotating schedule for platform coverage and off-hours support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day administration of the Informatica platform, including configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Plan and implement upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure platform stability and efficiency
  • Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshooting issues across environments and coordinating with Informatica support as needed
  • Automate routine maintenance tasks and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and platform availability
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with the Informatica admin team to provide off-hours support
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and operational best practices
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Informatica administration
  • Deep understanding of Informatica architecture (PowerCenter, IDQ, or other relevant tools)
  • Experience performing version upgrades and applying patches
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across platform, networking, and database layers
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and automation scripts (e.g., Shell, Python, etc.)
  • Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments a plus
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Must be based in the U.S. (onshore support required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • Experience working in or migrating to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems like ServiceNow
  • Prior experience supporting large-scale data environments
