Commercial Lines Account Executive / Senior Account Manager โ€“ Mid to Large Market Accounts (Woodland Hills, CA)
Salary: $90,000 โ€“ $115,000 base + full benefits + Incentive Compensation Plan
Work Setting: Remote BUT must have ability to report to office once per month.
System: AMS360 preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive (or Senior Account Manager) to manage a portfolio of mid-to-large market commercial clients. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, overseeing renewals, marketing, and day-to-day servicing while collaborating closely with producers to ensure clients receive the highest level of expertise and support.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with deep technical insurance knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering first-class client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients, providing expert guidance on coverage, risk management, and claims matters.
  • Consult with clients to assess risk exposures and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
  • Lead the renewal process, including marketing, proposal development, and coverage analysis.
  • Collaborate with producers during new business placement, then assume full ownership of account servicing post-bind.
  • Negotiate with carriers to obtain competitive terms and ensure timely issuance of quotes and policies.
  • Identify opportunities to round out accounts and strengthen client relationships.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation within the agency management system (AMS360).
  • Mentor and support other account management staff to promote teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
  • 10โ€“15+ years of commercial lines account management experience (mid to large market accounts preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of commercial coverages, rating, and marketing procedures.
  • AMS360 experience required.
  • Active Property & Casualty license.
  • Professional designations (CIC, CPCU, ARM, or similar) highly preferred or willingness to obtain within two years.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
