Job Title: Inbound Sales Representative

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000-$65,000

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain individual goals and objectives as provided on a quarterly basis
  • Assist customers with appropriate product selection and take sales orders
  • Guide customers through the website and order process effectively
  • Process quotes, sales orders, and returns accurately and efficiently
  • Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity
  • Maintain current knowledge of lighting, patio and home decor products to help customers make their selection
  • Build rapport with customers by greeting them in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using procedures learned during new-hire training
  • Ensure that customers understand product information and provide additional information to customers as needed
  • Handle phone-in customers with pleasant telephone etiquette and courtesy
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Customer service and call center experience preferred
  • Clear understanding of sales and customer service principles
  • A strong grasp of Internet navigation
  • Ability to multi-task in multiple electronic media
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work weekend and overtime schedules, which may include various holidays
Skills and Traits:
  • Efficient use of internal email and other communication systems to keep current in job knowledge and department directives
  • Staying informed with changes in company business policies or practices
  • Urgency to ensure a resolution for customer problems or internal items that need follow up
