 MINISTRY POSITION SUMMARY
The Communications Specialist creates, executes, and reports on strategic communications campaigns to promote the missional objectives of the Colson Center. 

 KEY MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 Campaign Development, Management, and Logistics Strategic direction, user journey design and automations, reporting + refinement, and project management for any general campaign from concept to deliverable, to ROI; including mobilizing staff and contractors for pertinent deliverables (I.e., websites, landing pages, copy, creative assets, inbound CRM setup), communicating goals and expectations, and measuring results. Reports on campaign results to internal stakeholders, identifies areas for continuous improvement in execution, collaboration with stakeholders, and outcomes. Executes on process improvements for both internal support and external audience.   60% of Time
Implement Strategic Communications Manages select Colson Center digital communications verticals and coordinates with internal customers on deliverables for target audience messaging, programmatic alignment, engagement.  25% of Time
Strategic messaging development with the ability to effectively communicate the Colson Center mission to various target audience segments.  15% of Time
 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Mission Focus, Education, Experience, Knowledge, Competencies 
·       Mission Focus: Passionate pursuit of spreading Christian worldview through marketing of the Colson Center’s products and services.
·       Education: Bachelor’s
·       Experience: 5 years' experience in strategic communications, inbound marketing, content marketing, segmentation, project management experience strongly preferred. Proficient/moderate to advanced experience in HubSpot is required. Experience managing multiple verticals and projects within verticals. Proven ability to hit goals and deadlines, balance those goals and deadlines with the need to maintain relationships and a close-knit team, and solve problems.  
·       Knowledge areas: HubSpot tools, LMS platforms, digital user journey creation, nurture/engagement, content marketing, conversions, implementation, and evaluation. Audience segmentation, email marketing; strategic messaging, content marketing, product marketing. Knowledge of the elements of inbound marketing (email, social, lead gen, websites, etc.) and can wield them intelligently in pursuit of defined goals.
·      Computer/Tech Skills: Comfortable with modern project management tools (Asana) and digital marketing and CRM tools (Hub Spot) and MS365
·      Physical: talking, hearing, seeing, typing.
·      Travel requirements: Two – Three Trips Per Year
