Grow your career as Group Service Specialist within ALG Vacations. The primary focus of this role is s2pporting Travel Advisors through phone calls, chats, and case management as Advisors are booking or modifying group reservations for clients. The Role
The Group Service Specialist is responsible for completing assigned work accurately, efficiently, and with a strong focus on customer service. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical proficiency, a passion for assisting customers, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of group travel operations and processes is essential.
Responsibilities include responding to questions and requests, managing inventory additions and releases, processing modifications, and supporting finalization activities. The Group Service Specialist serves as a key point of contact and collaborates closely with Travel Advisors, suppliers, and internal teams across the organization to ensure seamless service delivery.
Success in this role requires excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Team members are expected to take ownership of assigned cases and tasks, proactively drive resolutions, and ensure work is completed accurately and within established service standards. Working within a POD structure, the Group Service Specialist partners with team members to support shared goals, maintain productivity, and deliver exceptional service experiences.
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• High School Diploma/equivalent required
Experience Preferred:
• Previous travel industry experience preferred

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
