As an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a productive and compliant workplace by providing expert guidance on various HR matters. Your responsibilities will extend to advising management and staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirements.   • Bachelor's degree in business or human resources with a minimum of three years of experience as an human resource generalist.
  • Professional in Human Resources or other HR certification preferred but not required.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, and company's payroll and HRIS package; including ability to streamline HR processes through HRIS self-service program. Thorough understanding of requirements of COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and IRS rules on pertinent benefit programs.
  • Spanish fluency A+.
  • Experience with WorkDay A+
Responsibilities:
As an HR Advisor, you will:
  • First point of contact for employee inquiries from AccentCare's service lines-resolving a majority of inquiries and referring or escalating some issues to other HR teams; payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, etc.
  • Seeks rapid and efficient resolution of 'How To' questions using HR Guidelines, FAQs, and desktop procedures promptly resolving upon first call/contact. Ask probing questions to aid in problem-solving and issue escalation.
  • Logs all calls and emails according to HR Advisory team processes.
  • Prepares various letters as requested, status change letters, employment verification letters, job abandonment letters.
  • Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR activities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
