Job description

Position Overview

The Frontier Behavioral & Mental Health Clinic is actively seeking a passionate and qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in providing comprehensive mental health services to students in a remote school setting. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and well-being of young individuals, through evidence-based therapeutic practices and collaborative care solutions.

About the Organization

Frontier Behavioral & Mental Health Clinic prides itself on delivering accessible, high-quality mental health services tailored to individuals of all ages. Based in Cartersville, Georgia, our outpatient clinic is committed to creating an environment of healing and growth. Our focus is on effectively diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, and trauma-related issues, ensuring that every client receives personalized care that meets their unique needs.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while ensuring connectivity with clients in a school environment. Although you will primarily work from home, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that includes teachers, school psychologists, and other educational stakeholders, working collaboratively to enrich the mental health landscape of our student population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges and their personal strengths and resources.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that incorporate specific and measurable therapeutic goals.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation classes and group therapy sessions that empower clients with coping strategies and foster community support.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, and other key team members to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
  • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as needed for students at risk.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation that complies with ethical and legal standards while ensuring client confidentiality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on children and adolescents from various backgrounds who face challenges related to mental health. You will work with clients who are dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment difficulties, alongside other situational challenges that young people encounter in a school setting. Your ability to engage effectively with this diverse client group will significantly impact their academic and personal development.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An active and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A foundational understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and their practical application.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years' experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is required, candidates with experience working in educational environments or with children and adolescents will be preferred. Familiarity with school systems and an understanding of the unique dynamics of treating young clients will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health insurance coverage (medical, dental, and vision).
  • Retirement plans with employer matching contributions to help support your long-term financial stability.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) that includes vacation days, personal days, and holidays.
  • Continuing education and professional development programs to support your growth as a clinician.
  • A sign-on bonus to welcome you to our dedicated team.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Frontier Behavioral & Mental Health Clinic, we prioritize the professional growth of our team members. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will have ample opportunities to expand your skills through ongoing training, participate in specialized workshops, and pursue further credentialing. Our commitment to staff development ensures that you remain at the forefront of evidence-based practices and can advance your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Why Join Our Team

By joining Frontier Behavioral & Mental Health Clinic, you are becoming part of a vibrant community committed to making a positive impact on the mental health of young individuals. Our work culture emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and innovation in therapeutic practices. As part of our team, you will have the chance to cultivate meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike while contributing to a mission-driven organization that values healing and resilience.
