Job description

Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America's boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country's biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.
As the Senior HR Technology Product Manager, you will serve as the strategic technology partner for Stand Together's broader people technology landscape - bringing structure, clarity, and forward momentum to how we leverage our HRIS (UKG) and supporting systems across the full Talent function, including recruiting, learning, performance, reporting, and related people systems.
Success in this role is rooted in partnership - working alongside HR Leadership and IT to shape platform strategy, improve system health, and ensure HR technology decisions are made with intention and architectural rigor. You will bring enterprise application expertise and principled product thinking to a domain that is partially built and ready for focused leadership.
This role sits at the intersection of People, Enterprise Applications, and Data - translating HR priorities into clear system strategies, governance frameworks, and execution plans that reduce friction and enable the People function to scale.
How You Will Contribute
  • Serve as the primary IT partner for HR technology, connecting HR leadership and Enterprise IT to build a shared platform strategy and roadmap

  • Assess and stabilize the current state of the HR technology ecosystem, identifying gaps, clarifying ownership, and building a clear path forward

  • Define and maintain clear point-of-view (POV) documentation for HR systems and the broader technology landscape

  • Establish and run a single intake and prioritization model for HR technology work, ensuring the roadmap reflects the right priorities across HR and IT stakeholders

  • Translate recurring system pain points into structured improvement opportunities, and coordinate changes, testing, and releases with clear communication to all affected stakeholders

  • Partner with Enterprise IT teams (Enterprise Apps, Enterprise Data) and other shared services, including Accounting/Finance and Infrastructure, to align HR system and data architecture solutions as needed

  • Ensure HR technology decisions are aligned with data reliability, analytics, and AI enablement initiatives

  • Apply IT best practices and enterprise application governance principles to bring consistency and reliability to the HR technology environment

What You Will Bring
  • Experience owning or managing enterprise technology platforms such as ERP, HRIS, or comparable application ecosystems

  • A technical foundation that informs product thinking. You understand how systems are built, not just how they are used

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into system strategy, governance frameworks, and execution plans

  • Experience working cross-functionally across business stakeholders, IT, and data teams, comfortable operating at the intersection of all three

  • Proven ability to assess, stabilize, and improve partially built or inherited technology implementations

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and exercising principled judgment in a fast-moving environment

  • Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and approach to solving problems, with a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values that include transformation, innovation, entrepreneurship, humility, and respect

Standout Candidates Will Bring
  • Background spanning technical delivery and product management. You have built things and owned things.

  • Familiarity with UKG, Workday, ADP, or comparable HRIS platforms. Domain exposure is helpful context, not the primary differentiator. Strong people-systems expertise exists internally, and this knowledge can be built on the job

  • Experience implementing governance models, RACI frameworks, or prioritization frameworks in a complex stakeholder environment

  • Working knowledge of how enterprise systems connect, including data flows, integrations, or cloud platforms, and comfort asking the right questions of technical partners

  • Familiarity with Koch companies or Principle Based Management is a plus, though not required

What We Offer
  • Competitive benefits: Enjoy a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, flexible time off, comprehensive health and dental plans, plus wellness and mental health support through Peloton and Talkspace.

  • A meaningful career: Join a passionate community of over 1,400 employees dedicated to improving lives and driving innovative solutions to complex social challenges.

  • Commitment to growth: Thrive in a non-hierarchical environment that empowers employees to discover, develop and apply their unique talents.

  • Competitive compensation: Our approach rewards the value you create through competitive salaries and bonus opportunities, allowing you to share in the success you help drive.

$160,000 - $200,000 a year
For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $160,000-$200,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee's overall contribution to the organization.
Our Principles-Based Management™ (PBM) compensation philosophy is grounded in an individualized approach that rewards the long-term value each person creates for the organization. Compensation decisions are informed by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, capabilities, demonstrated skills, role responsibilities, and expected contribution. Consistent with this approach, base salary may vary within or outside of the anticipated range based on these considerations
Our Values: Working for an organization within the Stand Together philanthropic community is different from many other places. The culture is deeply rooted in Principle Based Management® (PBM®), a framework guided by the principles that drive human progress, such as dignity, openness, and bottom-up empowerment. PBM® empowers employees to be entrepreneurial, to innovate, and to continually drive transformation.
We believe diversity fuels creativity, broadens knowledge, and helps drive success. That is why we're proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and strive to treat all employees and applicants with honesty, dignity, and respect.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
