• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify patient needs and risks, leading to the development of comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic interventions to support patients and their families in navigating complex emotions associated with end-of-life care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and other social workers, to ensure integrated care that addresses all aspects of patient well-being.
• Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding grief, loss, and coping strategies.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health research, policies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.

As an LCSW in our remote Hospice Center, you will work primarily with patients facing terminal illnesses and their families. Understanding their unique emotional, social, and spiritual needs is paramount. Your role will involve providing empathetic counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support as families navigate through this sensitive phase of life. Your expertise will help build trust and foster a safe environment where patients and their loved ones can express their fears and hopes freely.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-based therapy interventions and mental health practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven abilities to engage patients effectively.

• Previous experience working in hospice, palliative care, or similar settings preferred.
• Experience with families dealing with grief and loss is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining clinical documentation.

This LCSW position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
