They are the hands-on caregivers who show up, day after day, and make a real difference for patients and families navigating one of life's most difficult chapters.We are looking for a dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team, reporting out of our Mesquite, TX office and serving patients throughout Waxahachie and Midlothian areas.What You Will Be DoingIn this role, you will provide personal care and support directly in patients' homes under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Your day-to-day will include:Assisting patients with personal hygiene, safe transfers, ambulation, and daily living activitiesSupporting proper nutrition and adequate fluid intakeMaintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patientsObserving and reporting changes in patient condition to the supervising RNPracticing infection control standards and following the patient's individualized Plan of CareCommunicating with compassion and respect with patients, families, and the care teamWhat We Are Looking ForA high school diploma (preferred) and completion of a CNA, Home Health Aide, or equivalent state-approved training programAt least one year of experience as a Hospice Aide, CNA, or Nursing Assistant in a home health, hospice, hospital, or long-term care setting preferredA valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insuranceThe physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient movementA genuine passion for caring for the elderly and seriously illStrong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a home settingWhy Bella HospiceThis is more than a job - it is a calling.
