Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills that promote resilience and improved mental health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and substance abuse challenges. You will engage with individuals from differing backgrounds and life experiences, focusing on culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
  • A minimum of four years of direct experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and client engagement.
  • Expertise in recognizing and treating a variety of mental health disorders, with a solid understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Proven crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations, ensuring client safety and trust.
