As a remote employee, you will participate in regular team meetings via video conferencing and engage in ongoing supervision and training sessions to foster professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and collaborate in formulating personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving therapeutic goals.
• Provide crisis intervention services and psychoeducational resources to guide clients and their families through difficult periods.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Document clinical interactions and maintain detailed client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in continual learning by researching current trends, methodologies, and innovations in mental health counseling.
• Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development initiatives designed to enhance clinical skills and competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Empower Edge Psychotherapy, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will support clients of various ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to respect and meet their unique cultural and personal contexts. Your role is crucial in helping individuals develop coping strategies and achieve sustainable mental health improvement.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is essential.
• An independent LPC license issued by the state board of Oregon is required.
• Proven capability to document clinical records accurately and prepare treatment reports.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong communication skills, enabling empathetic and effective expression of ideas.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make independent, professional decisions based on best practices.
• Experience working with individuals from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills characterized by empathy, active listening, and rapport-building.
• Strong commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality.
• Flexibility to adjust to the evolving needs of individual clients and the organization overall.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, providing therapeutic services is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital tools for remote counseling is advantageous.
• Experience in developing and facilitating group therapy sessions is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive annual salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
