Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Rethink Mental Healthcare, your role will include a range of responsibilities that foster client growth and recovery:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Regularly evaluate progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, direct care team members, and family members to collaboratively track and support client progress.
• Create and share a tentative schedule with supervisors detailing appointments, home visits, and monitoring sessions to facilitate effective workflow.
• Coordinate and execute home visits as required, conducting observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews to gather insights and assess the implementation of care strategies.
• Ensure the adherence to and effectiveness of implemented treatment methods, making necessary adjustments based on clinical judgment and patient feedback.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and contribute insights that enhance overall care quality.
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes to track advancements in treatment and adjust care pathways as needed.
• Organize and lead training sessions for new staff and team members, ensuring proficient understanding of documentation and treatment plan implementation.
• Conduct follow-up interviews and additional assessments to provide ongoing support tailored to individual patient needs.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment plans to ensure all information is accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between Rethink Mental Healthcare and the broader mental health community to foster relationships and drive developmental initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will allow you to work with a diverse clientele, including adults and youth, facing various mental health challenges. Whether supporting families, couples, or individuals dealing with trauma, substance misuse, or other behavioral health concerns, your role is critical in guiding clients toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards governing mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and relevant technologies for managing patient information and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma are highly preferred, as these areas are vital to our client demographic. Experience with evidence-based practices and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will enhance your effectiveness within our team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:
