An independent contractor in healthcare is a professional who provides services to healthcare facilities or clients on a self-employed basis, rather than as a full-time employee. They typically work on a contract basis, set their own schedules, and may need to hold relevant licenses or certifications depending on their role. This arrangement offers flexibility but also requires managing own taxes and insurance.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Independent Contractor in Healthcare, and why are they important?
