This role is remote, allowing for flexibility while working within our community health clinic framework. You will interact with a multidisciplinary team comprised of social workers, psychiatrists, and healthcare providers all passionately focused on patient care. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ psychological and emotional well-being to formulate personalized treatment strategies.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness techniques to meet client needs.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with case managers and healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care, discussing relevant treatment plans and progress notes.
• Perform crisis intervention services, providing immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health distress and ensuring their safety and stabilization.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and promote available resources in the Portland area.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds navigating an array of mental health challenges. This variety enriches your therapeutic practice and strengthens your skills in cultural competence, preparing you to meet each client where they are.

• Must possess an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A graduate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the development of trustworthy therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Cultural sensitivity and competence to work effectively with clients from varied backgrounds, ensuring an equitable and respectful therapeutic environment.
• Exemplary organizational and time-management abilities, maintaining accurate and timely documentation as mandated by healthcare regulations.

• Experience working in community health settings or prior involvement with underserved populations is desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate smooth documentation and client management.
• Engagement in professional development activities, including trainings and workshops on contemporary therapeutic practices, is a plus.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, contingent upon your experience and qualifications.
