Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately determine clients' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their individual goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic services via video calls and phone sessions, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals and stakeholders, including case managers and psychiatrists, to coordinate care and ensure clients receive comprehensive support.
  • Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental distress, employing effective strategies to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting educational programs that empower individuals and families.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Must hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication skills, enabling strong rapport with clients and the establishment of therapeutic relationships.
  • Cultural competence is essential, providing sensitivity and effective support for clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to deadlines.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a similar role, particularly in a remote setting, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and progress efficiently.
  • Prior experience in crisis intervention or community mental health settings would be an asset.
