Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner based in Netherlands.

This role offers the opportunity to shape engaging digital products within a fast-paced and innovative iGaming environment. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for transforming business needs into clear product initiatives and actionable development tasks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, Design, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. The position requires a strong understanding of user needs, agile delivery, and continuous product improvement. You will play a key role in prioritizing features, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that every release creates value for both users and the business. This is a fully remote opportunity with an international team culture focused on ownership, collaboration, and growth.

Accountabilities:

As a Product Owner, you will take ownership of product execution by translating strategic objectives and business requirements into well-defined solutions that development teams can deliver effectively. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure product priorities are clear, aligned, and focused on maximizing value.

  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring user stories, requirements, and development tasks are clearly defined and prioritized.
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed tickets for engineering teams.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities to support smooth delivery and maximize product impact.
  • Investigate product challenges, analyze user behavior and performance insights, and recommend solutions to enhance the overall experience.
  • Validate requirements, challenge assumptions, and evaluate trade-offs before development begins.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, QA specialists, Designers, and business teams to align priorities and deliver high-quality features.
  • Support QA processes by ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations and product standards.
  • Contribute to continuous product improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience working in product roles within digital environments and is comfortable managing agile product delivery processes. You are analytical, proactive, and able to connect business goals with technical execution while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Owner or similar Product roles, preferably within the iGaming industry.
  • Strong experience working with Agile development teams and product delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to transform business ideas into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and development requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with curiosity to understand user needs and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate, challenge assumptions, and influence stakeholders.
  • Proactive ownership mindset with the ability to independently identify solutions and drive initiatives forward.
  • Experience using product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to analyze product performance and user behavior is a plus.
  • Experience with FullStory, BI dashboards, product analytics tools, or experimentation frameworks such as A/B testing is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and engineering workflows is beneficial.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner, or similar are considered an advantage.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote working environment with flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Schedule aligned with European working hours (10:00-18:00 CEST/CET).
  • Company-provided equipment, including laptop, headphones, and mouse.
  • Opportunities for career development, training, and professional growth.
  • Quarterly performance reviews with opportunities for recognition, salary increases, and career progression.
  • Fitness reimbursement from the start of employment.
  • Access to a health budget after one year to support personal well-being.
  • Dedicated self-development budget for courses and professional learning.
  • 22 days of annual leave, increasing by one additional day per year up to 26 days.
  • Additional birthday leave after one year of employment.
