• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in developing stress reduction techniques and enhancing their emotional well-being.
• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' unique stressors and mental health challenges, formulating tailored mindfulness practices that support their goals.
• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, meditative practices, and breathing techniques during therapy sessions, enhancing self-awareness and emotional regulation among clients.
• Lead group workshops and educational classes on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience, empowering clients to cultivate effective coping strategies.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client assessments, treatment progress, and mindfulness interventions, ensuring clear records for ongoing care and collaboration with other healthcare team members.
• Engage in continuous professional development through personal mindfulness practice and ongoing training, deepening your expertise in mindfulness techniques and therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate holistic approaches into treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive mental health support for clients.

Your work will directly impact a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges related to stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. By integrating mindfulness into therapy, you will help clients cultivate inner strength, resilience, and coping skills, enabling them to navigate daily hurdles and achieve their personal goals.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in incorporating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the creation of a nurturing and supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities to ensure accurate record-keeping and case management.

• Two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within telehealth or remote settings.
• Formal training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques is highly desirable.
• Background in providing therapy to varied populations, including adults and adolescents, with unique psychological challenges.
