Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly therapy sessions through secure video conferencing, focusing on evidence-based treatments for adults coping with a range of emotional and psychological challenges.
  • Create and refine individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, addressing relational dynamics, behavioral issues, and personal goals.
  • Engage in thorough assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and mental health, including diagnosing disorders and establishing actionable treatment strategies.
  • Assist clients and their families in developing coping skills and effective strategies for managing symptoms and challenges, fostering resilience and positive behavioral change.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance while keeping therapeutic progress transparent and documented.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults experiencing various emotional disorders, which may include anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our client base is diverse, encompassing individuals seeking help for co-occurring disorders and those navigating complex family dynamics. The objective is to empower clients by equipping them with the tools needed to effectively confront and overcome their challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Currently active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated professional experience working with clients facing mental and behavioral health challenges, including those requiring substance abuse treatment.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing computers and telehealth software is essential; prior telemedicine experience will be considered advantageous.
Preferred Experience
  • Continuing education and specialization in specific therapeutic modalities or evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, or family systems therapy.
  • Experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions, especially in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with documentation practices and electronic health records (EHR) usage.
