Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to thoroughly evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and readiness for change.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals dealing with substance use disorders and the co-occurring mental health issues that commonly accompany them. You will engage with a diverse group of clients, each with unique backgrounds and recovery needs, tailoring your approach to meet their specific circumstances and motivation levels.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A relevant Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Specialized training or significant experience in addiction counseling, demonstrating familiarity with various recovery models.
  • Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with a proven ability to motivate clients and promote change.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering collaborative relationships with both clients and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a remote healthcare setting, particularly in teletherapy, strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current evidence-based practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience integrating specialized treatment methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
Compensation and Benefits
