Privia Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time capacity. As an LCSW, you will play an essential role in providing critical emotional support and interventions for families with children experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. This position is remote and offers the flexibility to work from home while supporting our hospice center's mission of fostering hope and healing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify their needs and developmental milestones.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring a tailored approach that reflects the family's unique situation.
  • Monitor and evaluate child progress and family outcomes, adjusting strategies and interventions collaboratively with the team.
  • Engage with families by providing emotional support, educational resources, and practical guidance to foster child development and well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations while assuring the health and safety of all individuals served.
  • Adopt and apply evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment Practices to enhance the learning opportunities for children.
  • Utilize coaching models and natural environment teaching techniques to maximize developmental potential.
  • Build rapport with children and families to create a safe and effective therapeutic environment conducive to growth and healing.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily support infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities within a family-centered approach. Recognizing that the first three years of life are crucial for development, your work will involve assessing needs and providing early intervention services that promote physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. The families you work with are diverse, and you will be instrumental in guiding them through challenges while celebrating successes.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A current license to practice as an LCSW, as required by the Oregon Department of Public Health.
  • Valid driver's license to ensure access to client homes if needed for specific interventions.
  • One year of experience working with children in early intervention settings is required.
  • A commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices, reflecting flexibility in adapting to individual learning styles.
