Remote Health Tech information

What is a remote health tech?

A Remote Health Tech job involves using technology to support healthcare services from a remote location. This can include tasks like monitoring patient data, assisting with telemedicine appointments, troubleshooting medical devices, or managing electronic health records. Remote Health Tech professionals work closely with doctors, nurses, and patients to ensure seamless virtual healthcare delivery. They may be employed by hospitals, telehealth companies, or medical device firms. Strong technical skills, healthcare knowledge, and communication abilities are essential for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote health tech?

To thrive as a Remote Health Tech, you need a background in healthcare technology, familiarity with patient care protocols, and often a relevant certification such as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or experience as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). Proficiency with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and secure communication tools is crucial. Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and self-motivation are highly valued soft skills in this role. These competencies are essential to ensure efficient patient support, data integrity, and seamless remote collaboration within healthcare teams.

What does a remote health tech do?

A typical day for a Remote Health Tech involves supporting patients and healthcare providers by managing electronic records, troubleshooting telehealth systems, and assisting in virtual visits or remote monitoring. You may coordinate with nurses, physicians, and IT specialists to ensure smooth workflows and proper data management across digital platforms. Remote Health Techs often work independently but are part of a wider virtual team, requiring regular communication via secure online channels. The role offers variety and opportunities to develop both technical and healthcare-related skills while contributing to patient care from a distance.

Help Clinicians Build Their Careers. Build Yours Along the Way.

Some people see recruiting as filling jobs.

At Medical Solutions, we see it differently.

Every conversation has the potential to change someone's career. Every placement helps deliver care to patients who need it most. That's why we believe recruiting is more than a job-it's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building an incredible career.

As a Healthcare Recruiter, you'll become a trusted career advisor to healthcare professionals across the country. You'll build relationships, create opportunities, and grow your own book of business in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where your success is rewarded.

You don't need healthcare staffing experience to succeed.

You just need the drive to learn, the resilience to overcome challenges, and the passion to help others.

Through our Recruiter Academy, hands-on coaching, and ongoing development, we'll give you the tools, training, and support to build a successful career.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals.

  • Recruit, interview, and guide clinicians through career opportunities.

  • Develop and manage your own pipeline of candidates.

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver an exceptional experience.

  • Stay connected with clinicians throughout their careers.

  • Achieve performance goals while making a meaningful impact every day.

Qualifications

What Makes You Successful

We're looking for people who are:

  • Competitive, motivated, and goal-oriented

  • Strong communicators who enjoy building relationships

  • Confident initiating conversations and building trust over the phone

  • Organized, resilient, and adaptable

  • Coachable with a desire to continuously learn

  • Comfortable using technology and managing multiple priorities

Experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, or business development is helpful-but not required.

Why Medical Solutions?

We don't just hire recruiters. We develop them.

Success isn't something we expect you to arrive with-it's something we're committed to helping you build.

When you join Medical Solutions, you'll benefit from:

  • Industry-leading Recruiter Academy training

  • Ongoing coaching and mentorship

  • Clear opportunities for career growth

  • Competitive compensation with uncapped earning potential

  • A collaborative, high-performing culture

  • Meaningful work that impacts clinicians, healthcare organizations, and patients every day

Build a Career That Matters.

The clinician you help today may care for someone's loved one tomorrow.

Help clinicians build their careers. Build yours along the way.
