Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clientsโ€™ specific challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, and customize mindfulness practices accordingly.
  • Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques during individual therapy sessions to enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.
  • Develop and facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, creating a supportive community among participants.
  • Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to enhance treatment plans, integrating mindfulness practices into comprehensive therapy approaches.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in continuous personal mindful practice and professional development opportunities to deepen understanding and expertise in mindfulness-based techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Oregon.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in delivering mindfulness-based interventions within therapeutic contexts.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to establish a calming and supportive atmosphere for clients.
Preferred Experience
