Job description

Walbunn Tech Pro LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Health Information Specialist to support the organization, maintenance, review, and management of healthcare-related records and information. The individual in this role will assist with record accuracy, document management, information requests, data integrity, and compliance with applicable privacy and confidentiality requirements.

The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information in a professional and compliant manner.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Review, organize, and maintain health information records and documentation.
  • Verify information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Process requests for health information in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain electronic records and document management systems.
  • Assist with data entry, record updates, and information tracking activities.
  • Ensure records are properly classified, stored, and maintained.
  • Support internal audits and quality assurance activities.
  • Monitor record retention and document management procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams regarding information management processes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of protected information.
  • Perform additional administrative and health information management duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
