We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Head Start Youth Counseling Center. This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while still delivering essential mental health services to families in need. As a member of our interdisciplinary medical team, you will collaborate closely with other professionals within a community health clinic model. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' psychosocial issues and develop individualized treatment plans that address specific needs.
• Deliver evidence-based individual and family therapy services, employing various therapeutic modalities to meet a range of needs.
• Engage in regular consultation with medical center staff concerning patient care issues, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach to mental health services.
• Document clinical information accurately and timely, in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
• Implement crisis management strategies effectively, providing immediate support and intervention when necessary.
• Facilitate referrals for clients to specialized services, including group therapy, psychiatric medication management, psychological testing, and substance abuse resources as needed.
• Review and update treatment plans frequently to monitor patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly, utilizing our practice management software.
• Participate in mental health committees and community outreach programs, representing Head Start Youth Counseling Center in various professional settings.
• Stay informed on best practices and advancements within the field of marriage and family therapy through ongoing education and training.
• Accept additional responsibilities as required to meet the goals and needs of the program.

In this role, you will work primarily with children, adolescents, and their families who face a diverse array of mental health challenges. Our clients often experience issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, and trauma, necessitating a tailored approach to therapy that respects each client's unique context and needs. Your contributions will directly impact the mental wellness of these families, supporting them on their journey to healthier relationships and greater emotional resilience.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; candidates with advanced degrees in marriage and family therapy, psychology, or social work are highly encouraged to apply.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Georgia is mandatory.
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working in a community health setting, particularly with families and youth, is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth systems to support effective patient management and documentation.
• Previous involvement in community outreach initiatives or mental health advocacy programs.

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
