Job Description:

Position Summary
DTN is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to drive strategic pipeline growth across our key sectors, with a primary focus on Agriculture. Sitting at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, this role serves as a critical link between demand generation and revenue, functioning as an extension of the Account Executive team.

You will lead high-touch, multi-threaded outreach into complex enterprise accounts, leveraging DTN's data, insights, and AI-powered sales tools to engage senior decision-makers and build meaningful relationships that drive business growth.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Drive strategic outreach to target accounts across DTN's sectors, with a focus on Agriculture
  • Leverage AI-powered tools, CRM systems, and sales engagement platforms to identify stakeholders and personalize outreach at scale
  • Book and schedule high-quality discovery meetings to support enterprise sales opportunities
  • Partner closely with Account Executives on named accounts, supporting account planning and multi-threaded engagement strategies
  • Identify, research, and qualify senior decision-makers to expand pipeline and account penetration
  • Support account-based marketing and selling (ABM/ABS) initiatives across U.S. and EU target accounts
  • Track and manage performance metrics (meetings, pipeline influence, engagement) using CRM and reporting tools
  • Serve as the first point of contact for enterprise prospects, representing DTN with credibility and professionalism
  • Share market insights and feedback to continuously improve GTM strategy and execution

What You Will Bring to the Position

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Development, BDR/SDR, or inside sales roles with a focus on enterprise prospecting
  • Demonstrated success engaging senior-level stakeholders (VP and C-level) within complex organizations
  • Experience executing account-based or enterprise sales development strategies (low volume, high value outreach)
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot), sales engagement tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and data platforms such as ZoomInfo or D&B
  • Excellent communication and research skills with the ability to craft personalized, value-driven outreach
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner effectively with Account Executives
  • Resilience, curiosity, and a results-oriented mindset

Compensation
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $70,000 and $92,500. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
