The Role:
Caring Transitions is seeking a Franchise Business Coach to help franchise owners build stronger, more profitable businesses through coaching, accountability, and operational excellence. You'll be joining our Franchise Business Coaching team, which consists of eight experienced coaches with backgrounds ranging from former Caring Transitions franchise owners to business coaches and franchise leaders from other industries. We're a collaborative and supportive team that values proactive problem solving, authentic relationships, and helping franchise business owners achieve their goals.
As a Franchise Business Coach, you'll partner with a portfolio of approximately 40-60 franchise owners, serving as their trusted advisor as they grow and scale their businesses. You'll analyze financial and operational performance, develop strategic action plans, coach owners through challenges, and drive adoption of systems, standards, and best practices across the franchise network. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with franchise owners and cross-functional corporate teams to help improve business performance while supporting the continued growth of the Caring Transitions franchise network.
The Franchise Business Coach will report to the Director of Franchise Business Coaching.
This is a remote U.S.-based position with approximately 25-45% travel for in-person meetings, trainings, and conferences. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 base annually.
How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Partner with franchise owners in virtual and on-site sessions to understand challenges and pain points; design plans to elevate business performance, improve operational efficiency, and achieve revenue goals
  • Coach franchise owners on all aspects of their business, including operations, sales, marketing, team development, brand standards, and leadership, empowering them to build stronger, more sustainable businesses
  • Analyze financial statements, operational KPIs, and business trends to identify opportunities, develop strategic action plans, and drive measurable improvements
  • Drive adoption of Caring Transitions systems, standards, and best practices while helping franchise owners implement processes that improve efficiency and consistency
  • Build strong relationships through regular coaching calls, business reviews, field visits, and ongoing communication that fosters accountability, trust, confidence, and continuous improvement
  • Attend conferences, regional and national meetings, and other events as a Caring Transitions ambassador, representing the brand through presentations, training, and conversations with franchise candidates and new owners
  • Ensure timely payment of royalties, national branding fees, and other financial obligations
  • Partner with team members to share field insights, support strategic initiatives, and ensure franchise owners have the tools and resources they need to succeed

Who You Are:
  • You have 5+ years of experience in business coaching, franchise operations, business ownership, or multi-unit leadership with a demonstrated track record of improving business performance
  • Analytical with strong business acumen, you can translate financial statements, operational KPIs, and performance trends into actionable recommendations and strategic plans
  • An exceptional coach and relationship builder, you know how to influence, motivate, and hold others accountable while building trust and credibility
  • A confident public speaker, you are comfortable presenting to and/or training large audiences
  • High EQ; you can navigate difficult conversations and provide direct, constructive feedback with the empathy and professionalism that inspires elevation
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and self-directed, you're skilled at managing competing priorities, balancing the needs of multiple franchise owners, and adapting to changing business demands
  • Dedicated and dependable, you build trust with business partners through consistent communication, proactive problem solving, and follow-through
  • Collaborative by nature, you enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams, sharing insights, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen the overall franchise system
  • Willing and able to travel approximately 25-45% for field visits, conferences, training, and franchise support
