What are some common challenges faced by remote forest therapy guides, and how can they be addressed?

Remote forest therapy guides often face challenges such as maintaining participant engagement and ensuring safety when guiding sessions virtually. Since they are not physically present, building a sense of connection with the natural environment and monitoring participants' well-being can require extra creativity and clear communication. Utilizing interactive technology, providing detailed pre-session instructions, and fostering open dialogue can help address these challenges. Regular check-ins and encouraging participants to share their experiences also contribute to a supportive and effective remote forest therapy session.

What are Remote Forest Therapy Guides?

Remote Forest Therapy Guides are trained professionals who facilitate nature-based therapeutic experiences, often referred to as 'forest bathing,' through virtual platforms. They guide participants in mindful, sensory-based activities designed to promote relaxation, well-being, and a deeper connection with nature, even when participants cannot be physically present in a forest. These guides use video calls or other digital tools to lead sessions, making forest therapy accessible to people regardless of their location. Their role includes creating a safe and supportive space, offering invitations for engagement with the natural environment, and encouraging reflection and sharing. Remote Forest Therapy Guides typically undergo specialized training and certification to ensure they are equipped to lead these experiences effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Forest Therapy Guide, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Forest Therapy Guide, you need a solid understanding of eco-psychology principles, nature-based facilitation, and completion of a recognized forest therapy guide training program. Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms and digital communication tools is essential for leading sessions remotely. Outstanding interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to create a calming, inclusive environment help participants feel safe and engaged. Job description

Occupational Therapy Consultant - State (Part-time, Remote)

Can be remote, but must be located and licensed in [State]

We're expanding our Occupational Therapy services and need Occupational Therapists (OTs) to serve as part-time consultants. You will help us shape local care models, expand insurance contracts, and if interested, create a launch-pad to build or grow your own independent practice—without the usual operational headache.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a variable commitment, up to 1 hr commitment per week
  • Advise on state regulations, cultural nuances, and care-model innovation.
  • Advise on policies and outcome metrics to ensure evidence-based, family-centered care.
  • Act as the primary credentialed provider for the group when we are applying to commercial and Medicaid plans in your state.
  • Use and critique our all-in-one tech stack (scheduling, data, EHR, billing) to guide product improvements.
  • If you wish, start seeing clients on our platform and build your own practice over time (no upfront fees, full ops support).
What We Provide
  • World-class operational support so you stay focused on clinical input.
  • Fully integrated practice-management suite, payer enrollment team, and rapid-pay billing.
  • Access to a nationwide peer community
  • Priority eligibility for a full practice-owner track with 3Y Health whenever you're ready.
Ideal Candidate
  • Active OT license in good standing in Indiana
    • License to practice in multiple states a plus
  • Familiarity with payer credentialing or utilization-management processes is a plus.
  • Passion for expanding equitable occupational therapy care and experimenting with outcome-driven models.
  • Enjoys autonomy and remote, flexible collaboration
Compensation

Compensation will be $100-150 per hour dependent on experience and geographic location.

At 3Y Health, we believe OTs deserve more—more freedom, more support, and more impact. That's why we've created a platform where OTs can launch and grow your own practice with no upfront costs and full operational support.

We handle the logistics. You focus on care.

Earn up to $320,000/year based on your client caseload and schedule.
