At Safety Plus Inc., we believe worker safety is a basic human right. We empower businesses with innovative SaaS technology and technology-enabled safety services, ensuring every worker returns home safely. Our mission is to simplify modern safety and transform how organizations protect their peopleโ€”because failure is not an option.

As the trusted leader in safety management, we are redefining workplace safety through advanced real-time insights, automation, and expert consulting. Our commitment to customer-first solutions, continuous innovation, and data-driven safety programs enables our customers to reduce risk, increase compliance, and build a stronger safety culture.

Position Summary
A Safety Plus Safety Manager is part of a team that is responsible for driving long-term client success by providing leadership and expertise to enhance client safety performance year-over-year. This role serves as a strategic advisor and operational partner to clients by understanding each clientโ€™s unique operational pressures, risk tolerance, and business objectives to develop practical and sustainable safety solutions. Leveraging Safety Plusโ€™s established operational guidelines, the Safety Manager will work to progressively improve client safety cultures and staying within agreed service boundaries all while fostering continuous safety enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Manager for EdgePro Services will work closely with clients to assess, design, and enhance safety management systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Client Enablement & Safety Leadership
    • Engage with clients to understand their specific needs, operational pressures, and values, tailoring safety strategies to meet them where they are while guiding improvement at a valued pace.
    • Facilitate regular safety reviews and advisory meetings to discuss goals, update safety plans, and address emerging risks.
    • Develop and monitor client-specific performance metrics that provide insight into safety progress and identify areas for growth.
  • Operational Excellence & Compliance Management
    • Conduct on-site evaluations to identify hazards and report findings to client leadership.

    • Act as a liaison between Safety Plus and clients ensuring consistent communication and mutual alignment on safety goals.
    • Monitor client health for retention purposes โ€“ be an advocate for client needs while working within our services delivery requirements.
    • Perform administrative and program management activities necessary to support client compliance efforts, including compliance reminders, policy and program reviews, meeting follow-up, and maintenance of client documentation.

Why Join Safety Plus?

At Safety Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across manufacturing, construction, industrial, warehousing, transportation, and energy sectors. Rather than supporting a single employer, you'll partner directly with business leaders across multiple organizations to solve complex safety challenges, improve compliance, and drive meaningful safety performance improvements.

This role is ideal for a safety professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing change, solving operational challenges, and making a measurable impact on workplace safety. Our team combines practical field experience, business understanding, and regulatory expertise to help clients make safe work sustainable.

  • Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to independently research unfamiliar regulatory, operational, and compliance topics, synthesize findings from credible sources, and provide accurate, actionable guidance to clients in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates strong business and risk awareness with the ability to evaluate client risk tolerance, operational pressures, and organizational maturity to recommend practical and sustainable safety solutions.
  • Strong critical thinking and operational awareness with the ability to balance regulatory compliance, practical field application, and client business realities. Avoids a โ€œcheck-the-boxโ€ approach by focusing on meaningful risk reduction and sustainable program improvement.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with disciplined documentation habits, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to effectively prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience managing safety programs, safety departments, or serving in a similar safety leadership role with demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
