Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as CAPEX Finance Analyst based in New Ibera or Houston. You'll be responsible for managing and controlling the NAM capital budget, including forecasting, tracking actual spend, and ensuring compliance with global capital processes.

What you'll do as CAPEX Finance Analyst:

  • Develop and maintain the NAM annual capital budget
    • Allocated into monthly spending requests
    • Ongoing tracking and reporting of actual spend versus budget
  • Ensure capital expenditures comply with the global process
    • Monitoring approval workflows, recognizing and overcoming delays
    • Maintaining spending within the approved budget
  • Track capital expenditures, including costs and delivery schedules
    • Host monthly Checkpoint calls and weekly meetings with Procurement team
    • Daily communications with capex stakeholders
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for leadership presentations
    • Conduct variance analysis - present monthly actuals and future forecast delivery schedules
  • Collaborate with Finance and Wipro (third-party accounting firm)
    • Support fixed asset capitalization
    • Participate in internal and external audits - identify intercompany
  • Cross-Department collaboration
    • You will be working with Executive leadership, Global Fleet teams, NAM & Global Procurement, NAM & Group Finance teams, Wipro (third-party accounting), Technical Teams and the Asset Management PDM team

You are:

  • 5+ years of fleet, asset, ops and supply chain experience - bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Capital Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting experience
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of finance and accounting and Data Analytics
  • Able to maintain high visibility of fleet status, including utilization by set size, equipment under repair or inspection, turnaround timelines, and rehires
  • PC literate in a Microsoft Office environment (Largely Excel & PowerPoint), experienced with an ERP system (preferred)
  • Excellent Communication - clear, persuasive
