Job description

Federal Account Executive, U.S. Federal Civilian - Remote

Oxygen Forensics

About the Role

Oxygen Forensics is a global leader in digital forensics and incident response software, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. Our platform supports federal cyber, insider threat, investigative, and DFIR missions across the U.S. government.

We are hiring a Federal Account Executive to lead growth across U.S. Federal accounts, including Federal Civilian, Federal Law Enforcement, and select DOD/military opportunities. The role will focus on expanding existing agency relationships, creating new pipeline, and driving strategic growth across the federal landscape

This is a federal enterprise sales role focused on direct agency engagement, account expansion, and pipeline creation. We are looking for a senior federal seller who can rebuild and deepen relationships inside Civilian agencies, reopen stalled conversations, and drive executive level dialogue at the mission and program office level. The right person is fundamentally a hunter who understands that federal selling is a long game built on substance, transparency, and reputation, and is energized by the work of building those relationships the right way.

This role is fully remote. The successful candidate will have the ability to travel into Washington, D.C. and other agency locations on a regular basis. Federal agencies are increasingly distributed beyond the DC metro, and we want a candidate who can engage them wherever the mission lives.

What You Will Own

  • Lead Civilian federal growth with primary focus on net new business, account expansion, and pipeline creation across DHS, HHS, Treasury, and similar agencies.
  • Rebuild and deepen direct relationships with mission owners, technical leads, program offices, and executive stakeholders inside Civilian agencies. Reopen stalled conversations and create new pipeline through direct outreach and agency engagement.
  • Drive executive level dialogue that positions Oxygen as a credible mission partner, not a transactional vendor.
  • Run the full federal sales cycle from prospecting through close, including requirements shaping, solution positioning, pricing, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Partner closely with our channel ecosystem to navigate procurement vehicles and contracting pathways, while retaining primary ownership of the customer relationship and the demand creation motion.
  • Prepare compelling responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs in coordination with our internal proposal, technical, and product teams.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene.
  • Serve as a credible internal voice on agency sentiment, mission priorities, and procurement dynamics so that our product, support, and leadership teams stay aligned with what Civilian customers actually need.

Who We Are Looking For

This role is built for a senior federal enterprise seller who combines proven quota carrying experience with strong agency relationships and the ability to create demand directly inside Civilian missions. You understand how Civilian agencies actually buy, how they evaluate vendors, and how they decide whom to trust.

You are a hunter at heart. You build pipeline. You open doors. You are comfortable in rooms where credibility is earned slowly and lost quickly. You take the long view on relationships. You communicate with precision. You do not oversell. You are the kind of professional that program leads, mission owners, and executive stakeholders take a meeting with because they know the conversation will be substantive.

Required Qualifications

  • At least five years of direct federal enterprise sales experience in software, cybersecurity, digital forensics, or related technical solutions, with a verifiable record of quota attainment and pipeline creation.
  • Demonstrated success advancing and closing business inside Civilian agencies, with verifiable wins, procurement paths, and contract values.
  • Existing federal agency relationships and the ability to leverage them for direct engagement and pipeline creation.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal acquisition cycles, budget structures, and decision making processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive briefing and proposal development.
  • Strong pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy.
  • Ability to travel regularly into Washington, D.C. and other federal locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling cybersecurity, digital forensics, DFIR, eDiscovery, or insider threat platforms into Civilian agencies.
  • Existing relationships inside DHS components, HHS, Treasury, or similar Civilian organizations.
  • Prior service inside a Civilian agency in a cyber, DFIR, insider threat, IT, or investigative role.
  • Active or recently held federal security clearance. Cleared candidates are welcome. Clearance is not required for this Civilian focused role.
  • Experience working with SEWP, GSA, or other major federal contract vehicles.

Additional Details

Location, Remote.

Compensation, Competitive base salary with an uncapped commission plan.

Benefits, Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off.

Why Oxygen Forensics

Our platform is trusted across federal investigative and cyber missions, with strong product performance and short deployment cycles. We are a focused company with direct access to leadership, a flat decision making structure, and a real commitment to transparency with our customers and our team. For a senior federal seller who wants ownership of a high potential Civilian territory and the autonomy to build it the right way, this role offers meaningful impact and significant upside.
