The Mental Health Counselor will play a pivotal role in our service delivery by:

• Conducting in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and establish their unique therapeutic needs.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, focusing on measurable outcomes.
• Facilitating regular therapeutic sessions, both individual and group-based, utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities suitable for the client population.
• Providing clients with coping strategies and tools necessary for managing their mental health challenges, resulting in improved personal outcomes.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.

We serve a wide array of clients who may be experiencing issues such as substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mental health field, demonstrating an understanding of various mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the formation of trusting relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and effective tracking of client progress.
• A commitment to uphold ethical standards and confidential practices in all interactions.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

• Experience in providing culturally responsive therapy and group facilitation.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
