Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

As Project Scheduler you will be assigned to support a portfolio of Justice Sector construction projects. Our Project Schedulers will have solid experience supporting design-bid-build and/or design build construction delivery in a team-oriented environment. As a Vanir employee you will be a vital member solving complex operational and project controls issues with a maintained focus on customer satisfaction. (ON-SITE | Not hybrid or remote)

  • Perform highly complex construction scheduling activities and provide technical direction to the staff engaged in planning, scheduling, monitoring, progress analysis and reporting
  • Reviews CPM schedules to verify compliance with project constraints, milestone dates, reasonableness of durations and sequence, accurate inter-relationships, and completeness of project scope
  • Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various programs.
  • Continued involvement in the project and analyzes time extension requests, identify problem areas, and create and update schedules as needed to ensure timely project completion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related degree is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Program Scheduling, preferably in public works projects.
  • Prior experience developing program schedules and performing critical path, earned value, and schedule impact analysis is preferred.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive analysis skills including resource loading, cost loading, analyses of change orders, time extension requests and schedule impact analyses.
  • Must be able to manage the program schedule and update process while collaborating with internal and external clients.
  • Strong communication, presentation, writing, and computer skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Project Management (5.0 or 6.1), Primavera Project Planner(P6) and Microsoft Project
  • Experience with Design-Build and Progressive Design-Build schedules and project delivery preferred.
  • Experience in using SQL to retrieve data from various data sets is also preferred.
