• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs through screenings, interviews, and history-taking to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Deliver individualized short-term counseling and crisis intervention services tailored to specific patient concerns, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups focused on personal development and mental health awareness, employing evidence-based practices that resonate with diverse patient backgrounds.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff and external community organizations, to ensure that patient care is comprehensive and cohesive.
• Participate in outreach initiatives, such as mental health workshops and wellness events, to raise awareness and promote community education surrounding mental health issues.
• Diligently maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to ethical and legal standards to ensure compliance and patient trust.

You will be working with a diverse group of clients, bringing unique challenges and needs stemming from various backgrounds and life experiences. Our patient population includes individuals facing acute mental health crises, chronic mental health disorders, and those seeking preventive care and general counseling support. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing tailored interventions that contribute to improved patient outcomes.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted state license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Strong understanding of the unique mental health challenges faced by diverse populations, particularly in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement and collaboration with patients as well as a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suitable for the unique challenges presented in a community health clinic format.

• Experience working in a clinical setting, particularly in hospital or community health environments, is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse and fluctuating caseload, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Engagement in continuous professional development and a willingness to incorporate new therapeutic techniques and modalities into practice.
