Advanced Medical Care Inc. is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Therapist, holding a valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW, to join our innovative team. In this full-time remote role, you will take the lead in delivering personalized support for individuals facing substance use disorders, guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health.

Located in Seattle, Washington, Advanced Medical Care Inc. is a community health clinic recognized for its holistic and evidence-based approach to addiction treatment. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, ideal for professionals skilled in virtual care delivery. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient demands. Our remote team utilizes a secure electronic health record (EHR) system to facilitate seamless communication and documentation, ensuring all interactions are efficient and client-centered.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and treatment goals of individuals seeking help for substance use disorders.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
• Lead individualized counseling sessions and group therapy that foster an environment of trust and openness, ultimately supporting recovery objectives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to provide integrated care to clients, ensuring continuity between medical and therapeutic interventions.
• Offer crisis intervention access for clients experiencing acute distress related to substance use issues.
• Educate clients and their families about addiction recovery, coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client privacy and safety.
• Engage in regular team meetings and professional development activities to stay informed of current best practices and advancements in treatment methods.

Your primary focus will be on clients struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from mild to severe cases. You will work closely with individuals in various stages of recovery and their families, providing compassionate support and guidance tailored to their unique situations. This role aims not only to facilitate recovery but also to empower clients to rebuild their lives and foster resilience in their social environments.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and recovery-oriented practices.
• Proven experience providing both individual and group therapy in settings focused on addiction treatment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and non-judgmental support.
• Strong ethical foundation with a commitment to client confidentiality and professional standards.
• Competence in using electronic health record systems and familiarization with related digital tools.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse healthcare team, fostering collaboration and integrated care.

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with specific expertise in addiction therapy and previous engagement in community health initiatives. Candidates who have demonstrated the ability to creatively implement treatment interventions will be especially valued.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, based on experience, alongside eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
