Key Responsibilities
  • Perform commissioning, startup, testing, and validation of PCS, ESS, and PVI systems at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, firmware upgrades, and system health checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, communication, networking, and control system issues, and perform corrective repairs.
  • Respond to customer service requests and provide timely onsite and remote technical support.
  • Analyze system alarms, logs, and operational data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Configure and verify system settings, communication protocols, and controller parameters.
  • Support system integration with SCADA, EMS, BMS, utility, and third-party monitoring platforms.
  • Perform acceptance testing, functional verification, and commissioning reports in accordance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical training to customers, contractors, and field personnel on system operation, maintenance, and best practices.
  • Prepare accurate service reports, commissioning documentation, maintenance records, and technical findings.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Quality teams by providing field feedback for continuous product improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, customer site requirements, electrical safety standards, and applicable industry regulations.
  • Maintain company tools, test equipment, firmware, spare parts, and service inventory.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience commissioning, servicing, or troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment, power electronics, renewable energy systems, UPS systems, ESS, PCS, solar inverters, or related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of three-phase power systems, AC/DC power conversion, electrical distribution, and power electronics.
  • Knowledge of battery energy storage systems, lithium-ion battery technologies, inverter systems, and grid-connected power systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation resistance testers, clamp meters, and power analyzers.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet/IP, CAN, RS-485, and TCP/IP networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport for domestic and international travel, if required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work independently.

Pay Range
USD $66,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $68K to $85Kper year. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan. Eligible employees receive company-provided benefits in accordance with plan terms and eligibility requirements. Benefits include health coverage, wellness resources, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and other company-sponsored programs; parental leave is provided in accordance with applicable law.
