MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team! For this position the work is remote but a onetime trip to Clarksburg WV customer site is required for processing with the customer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
  • Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
  • Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
  • Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
  • Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
  • Designs embedded systems software.
  • Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science and 4+ years of IT related experience, 6+ year's w/Associate's OR 2+ year's w/Master's
  • Minimum of 4 years' hands on development experience with Java in Linux environments.
  • Minimum of 4 years' hands on development experience with NodeJS and Angular.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience developing in Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Development experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas.
  • Ability to develop program logic for new applications or analyze existing applications.
  • Experienced with codes, tests, debugs and maintaining software applications.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,800.00-$127,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
