Job description

Role: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer/Administrator
Location: Remote and then Florida (Relocation to Gainesville, FL required after 6 months upon permanent conversion)
Length of Assignment: 6 months Contract-to-Hire
Onboarding: Background Check + Drug Screen + US Citizen/Green Card required
We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Salesforce Marketing Cloud resources to support implementation, campaign execution, and platform maintenance efforts. This role is designed for individuals with foundational Marketing Cloud exposure who are eager to grow their skills while helping manage an existing backlog of campaign, automation, and data-related tasks. This opportunity provides hands-on experience, mentorship from senior team members, and the chance to build deeper expertise across the Marketing Cloud ecosystem.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Cloud Administration & Campaign Support
  • Assist with day-to-day administration of Marketing Cloud environments
  • Support campaign setup including email builds, audience segmentation, and scheduling
  • Help manage users, permissions, and basic platform configurations
Automation & Data Support
  • Assist in building and maintaining journeys, automations, and data extensions
  • Support data imports, list management, and basic segmentation activities
  • Help monitor performance and troubleshoot campaign or automation issues
Integration Support
  • Assist with data flow between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud
  • Support testing and validation of integrations and campaign triggers
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members as needed
Collaboration & Growth
  • Partner closely with senior Marketing Cloud specialists and mentors
  • Document processes and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide flexible support across related Salesforce areas as project needs evolve

MUSTS:
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience with exposure to Marketing Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with email campaigns, journeys, or automations
  • Basic understanding of Marketing Cloud fundamentals (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Data Extensions)
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (US Citizen or Green Card)
  • Relocation to Gainesville, FL required upon conversion

BONUS:
  • Experience with audience segmentation and campaign execution
  • Familiarity with CRM-to-Marketing Cloud data sync concepts
  • Exposure to AMPscript, SQL, or automation workflows
