Research Information amp; Support Coordinator
Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We are seeking a Research Information amp; Support Coordinator in our Columbus, Ohio location. The Research Information amp; Support Coordinator is an engineering support role responsible for managing technical documentation, coordinating global training initiatives, and supporting data reporting and governance across Research amp; Development [R amp;D], Application Engineering [AE], and Quality Assurance [QA] teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Write and proofread drafts of corporate policies, technical standard operating procedures, and lab work instructions
  • Organize the global training program content provider team (from R amp;D, AE, and QA): oversee timelines, guarantee deliverables, hold stakeholders accountable for deadlines
  • Create training presentations for global training programs
  • Department KPI reporting; extracting and running informational and analytical reports
  • Support current patent and market research using existing software tools
  • Support companyโ€™s data governance system and assist with global intellectual property protection and documentation
  • Manage global technical data storage for R amp;D, AE, and QA
  • Assist in coordination of R amp;D / AE / QA conferences (online and in-person)
  • Assist R amp;D product literature team when necessary
  • Observe privacy protocols for company confidential information
  • Follow all company rules and regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree from accredited university.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience supporting administrative functions, technical research, document creation, or similar work.
  • Possess strong analytical thinking and self-directed problem-solving skills.
  • Requires strong organizational discipline
  • Proficient with presentation software applications (PowerPoint) and video editing tools.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrate effective time management and organization.
  • Must exhibit good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Good written communication skills are essential.
  • Be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP, SharePoint and AutoDesk Fusion LifeCycle (PLM) a plus
