This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $120,000 to $130,000, depending on your clinical caseload and experience. • Design and implement personalized treatment programs for individuals suffering from acute and chronic mental health issues, ensuring integration of best practices and evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments, prepare detailed treatment plans, and maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with state regulations and NCQA standards.
• Deliver outpatient psychotherapy across various modalities, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions, aiming to improve client outcomes and quality of life.
• Engage in regular staff conferences to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs and make adjustments as necessary based on each client's progress.
• Collaborate closely with physician colleagues to assess clients for psychotropic medication interventions within your scope of practice, ensuring a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Supervise post-master's fellows and associate counselors when needed, providing mentorship and guidance that aids their professional development.
• Offer support to clients’ families by explaining treatment processes and suggesting strategies to enhance family involvement in the client's therapeutic journey.

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and children from various cultural backgrounds facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. This role is pivotal in assessing client needs and providing tailored therapeutic interventions to facilitate recovery and positive mental health outcomes.

• Master’s degree in one of the following: Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active California License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Proven proficiency in performing clinical assessments, formulating treatment plans, and engaging in therapeutic interventions.

• Experience providing therapeutic services in an outpatient or community mental health setting.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Previous experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
