Empathy Matters Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) to provide vital mental health support through a fully remote service model. • Design, implement, coordinate, and evaluate personalized clinical treatment plans for patients experiencing acute or chronic mental health challenges. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and allied health professionals, to establish comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address a wide range of mental health issues.
• Maintain thorough documentation by preparing intake summaries, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring that all records comply with state regulations and NCQA standards.
• Serve as a crucial member of the call rotation, providing timely crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians in evaluating patients for potential psychotropic medication, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.
• Leverage community resources effectively by connecting patients and their families with relevant public and private agencies to aid in their recovery.
• Supervise and mentor Post Masters Fellows and Associate-level professionals as required, fostering the growth of emerging mental health practitioners.
• Engage with clients' families, providing education about therapeutic processes and strategies to encourage adherence and support throughout treatment.

Your role will encompass working with a diverse client population seeking assistance for a variety of mental health issues, creating tailored interventions that meet their unique needs. Clients may include individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, or family-related dynamics. Your expertise will be critical in addressing the complexities of each case to achieve optimal mental health outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Must hold an active California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Experience in community health settings or outpatient psychotherapy, particularly with a focus on diverse populations, is highly favored. Familiarity with evidence-based therapy techniques and an ability to adapt to the changing landscape of mental health care delivery will be advantageous. Additionally, prior supervisory experience in a clinical setting will enhance your candidacy.
